Eric has built a strong reputation in the industry with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, business valuation, corporate management, and professional accounting. He takes a hands-on approach with every client he engages with, combining his technical experience and expertise with a highly personable style. Eric has served as an advisor to various public and private corporations, quasi-government organizations, and private individuals and groups. As well, he managed one of the largest valuation practices in Canada in the late 80s and served as a senior executive of a public company in the 90s.

As the head of Toronto-based Klein Farber, Eric has played a key advisory role in successfully executing a long list of complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financings as well as joint ventures and business valuations of mid-sized Canadian corporations. He has extensive experience across diverse industry sectors, such as manufacturing, environmental, distribution, service and technology; and has worked from coast to coast on national and international deals.

Currently, Eric is an active board member of a public company, which builds on his past service from both public and not-for-profit boards. He is a frequent lecturer and speaker on corporate finance and entrepreneurship and is involved in various charities. He has contributed articles on succession planning, business valuation and alternative financing to publications such as Canadian Treasurer, The Bottom Line, Plant, and Biz. Eric is a devoted family man, and passionate hockey and thoroughbred horse-racing fan. His community involvement includes serving as vice president of a local minor hockey association.

Eric is supported by the vast network, professional experience and skills of the other Farber Group partners and professionals. He is a member of the Canadian Venture Capital Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
